Schimmel Center Hosts SING-A-LONG-A GREASE Tonight

Schimmel Center at Pace University will host Sing-a-long-a Grease when the unique, interactive show rolls into town. This brand new sing-a-long-a version of the classic film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John brought to you by the producers of Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music. You'd better shape up to sing along to the great movie musical, complete with on-screen lyrics and the chance to become a T-Bird or Pink Lady for the night and enter the world famous costume competition.

Earlier this week, Carnegie Hall presented Standard Time with Michael Feinstein 'The Bad and the Beautiful'- Celebrating David Raksin and Classic Film Songs. Michael Feinstein, backed by a 12-piece band conducted by Charles Prince, sang classic songs by some of Hollywood's greatest composers. Feinstein performed music by David Raskin, the composer of the themes for The Bad and the Beautiful, Laura, and other memorable films, as well as favorites by other great masters of music for the silver screen. Ordway Center Hosts SOUND OF MUSIC Sing-a-Long Today

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts previously announced that Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music would return to the Ordway for a third year in a row. Today, Mar. 22, the Ordway will present two screenings of the popular film at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $27.

As part of an international celebration marking the 100th birthday of famed Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, the Oakland University Theatre program will present a production of his play 'Under Milk Wood' from tonight, Feb 6 through Sunday, Feb. 16 in Varner Studio Theatre.
