Two End Of Summer Fundraising Events Will Support Rubicon's Education Programs

Rubicon Theatre wraps up its extraordinary 2019 Jack Oakie Summer Youth Program with the annual Kids for Kids fundraiser. This year's concert is titled a?oeBroadway Through the Ages.a?? This exuberant evening of song and dance will be guided entirely by student directors, choreographers and designers, and will feature some of Broadway's hottest tunes including a?oeEpic 2a?? (Hadestown), a?oeGod, I Hate Shakespearea?? (Something Rotten), a?oeA Change in Mea?? (Beauty and the Beast), a?oeAstoundinga?? (Little Women), a?oeYour Daddy's Sona?? (Ragtime), a?oeNowadaysa?? (Chicago), a?oeHopelessly Devoted to Youa?? (Grease), a?oeNothinga?? (A Chorus Line), and more! Songs will be performed by students from across all of the summer programs.

HB Studio Announces UTA HAGEN AT 100 Gala

HB Studio, one of New York's oldest acting studios, will celebrate the legacy of Uta Hagen, long-time HB Studio master teacher, with the UTA HAGEN AT 100 GALA, on Monday, June 10 at Tribeca Rooftop (2 Desbrosses Street).  The evening will begin at 6pm with cocktails, followed by a dinner at 7pm.

THE BELLE OF AMHERST takes place through the current and past experiences of EMILY DICKINSON'S life from 1830-1886 and is set in her home in Amherst Massachusetts. The reclusive nineteenth-century poet EMILY DICKINSON recollects her past through her work, her diaries and letters, and a few encounters with significant people in her life. WILLIAM LUCE'S classic play shows both the pain and joy of Dickinson's secluded life.

BWW Interview: Robbie Rozelle on SONGS FROM INSIDE MY LOCKER, Intense Kickstarters, And His BWW Cabaret Award Wins

Robbie Rozelle will return to Feinstein's/54 Below to record the album on February 23 and March 1, along with special guests Maya Days (AIDA) and Bonnie Milligan (HEAD OVER HEELS). HB Studio to Celebrate 100 Years of Uta Hagen

HB Studio, one of New York's original acting studios, has announced UTA HAGEN at 100, a series of special events and workshops celebrating the centenary of its master teacher, the legendary actress and activist Uta Hagen. UTA HAGEN at 100, honoring the three-time Tony Award winning actress and her legacy as a pioneering theater artist, activist and master teacher of HB Studio, will kick off on Monday, February 25 with a series of centennial events. The celebration will culminate on Monday, June 10 with a centennial gala honoring the actress, whose 100th birthday is Wednesday, June 12.

Casting Announced For THE MISMATCH GAME at Los Angeles LGBT Center

Casting has been announced for the upcoming edition of Dennis Hensley's The MisMatch Game, the show the Los Angeles Times called, "witty, ribald ... an adventure in surrealist era bending." The side-splitting parody of the '70s game show returns to the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Renberg Theatre for two nights only, Saturday, July 28, at 8pm and Sunday, July 29, at 7pm.

Cherry Lane Theatre Presents FIRST LOVE By Charles Mee
