Primary Stages, in association with Ted Snowdon, launched its 26th season with the New York premiere of SECRETS OF THE TRADE by Jonathan Tolins directed by Matt Shakman last night, August 10. The five-member cast features Amy Aquino as Joanne Lipman, Bill Brochtrup as Bradley, John Glover as Martin Kerner, Mark Nelson as Peter Lipman and Noah Robbins as Andrew Lipman.

On Sunday, August 8, after the 4 p.m. show, 'No Holes Barred,' the Golden Pineapple, Silver Tomato, Bronze Banana, and Jack Lemons will be bestowed upon the chosen few (by audience vote) of talented writers, directors, and actors. Then, there's a party-till-you-drop in the lounge with splendiferous food, donated by some of NYC's best gourmet restaurants and markets.

The event takes place in the Grand Theatre at the Producers' Club. Admission for the evening's theme, Sex Encounters of a Disturbed Mind, directed by Robert Bartley & starring Richard Pryor Jr., the Honorary Golden Pineapple Awards ceremony & the splendiferous party in the theatre's Iluras Lounge is only $40.
