Charles Busch, playwright and actor, tells kids - life gets better.

Busch can be seen in his latest project, THE DIVINE SISTER, a new comedy that opened September 22 at SoHo Playhouse.

In addition to Busch, THE DIVINE SISTER also features Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker, and Julie Halston.

The creative team includes: Scenic and Graphic Design by B.T. Whitehill, Costume Design by Fabio Toblini, Lighting Design by Kirk Bookman, Sound Design by Jill BC DuBoff, Wig Design by Katherine Carr, and Original Music by Lewis Flinn.

THE DIVINE SISTER is Charles Busch's comic homage to nearly every Hollywood film involving nuns: The Song of Bernadette, The Bells of St. Mary's, The Singing Nun and Agnes of God. THE DIVINE SISTER tells the story of St. Veronica's indomitable Mother Superior (played by the legendary Charles Busch). Come join this madcap trip through Tinseltown religiosity from the creator of Die Mommie Die, Psycho Beach Party and Vampire Lesbians of Sodom.

THE DIVINE SISTER is produced by Daryl Roth and Bob Boyett. The play was originally presented in a developmental run at Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Executive Artistic Director) where the production became a sold out hit less than a week into its run.
