The 'Dreamgirls' were big hits at tonight's NAACP Awards ceremony. The AP reports that Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Hudson both waltzed away with trophies Thursday and wowed the audience with individual performances during the 40th annual NAACP Image Awards.

Tony and Emmy-winner Tyne Daly appeared on the hit ABC television show Grey's Anatomy last night and we've got some photos below. The episode is now available on ABC's web site for online viewing. Tyne Daly won the Tony Award for her performance as Mama Rose in the 1989 revival of Gypsy. Her other Broadway credits include Rabbit Hole and Edward Albee's Me, Myself & I. On television, she starred for seven seasons in 'Cagney and Lacey' and six seasons in 'Judging Amy.'

Wonderful Town's star Jennifer Westfeldt is scheduled to make a guest appearence on 'Grey's Anatomy.' Westfeldt will appear in three or four episodes of the ABC series. Grey's Anatomy stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Katherine Heigl as Isobel 'Izzie' Stevens, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, T.R. Knight as George O'Malley, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey and Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt.

The Hayworth Theatre, in association with Roz Bernstein Productions, will present the world debut of 'Lovelace: A Rock Opera,' on October 18, 2008. The new show, recounting the life and times of legendary adult film superstar Linda Lovelace of 'Deep Throat' fame, is based on the Book, Music and Lyrics of Charlotte Caffey (founding member of 'The Go-Go's,) and Anna Waronker (singer/songwriter, founding member of 'That Dog.,') with the Original Concept and Lyrics from Jeffery Leonard Bowman.

This morning, July 17th 2008 the nominations for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced by Kristin Chenoweth and Neil Patrick Harris. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 13th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

It was recently announced that stage/screen actress Ruby Dee will receive the Chairman's Award at the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards, which will be bestowed on Thursday, February 14 in Los Angeles and broadcast on FOX Television, according to Variety.
