Book and Lyrics are by DC Based Psalmayene 24, Music is by DJ Nick tha 1da and it is directed by Wendy C. Goldberg, the Artistic Director of the National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presents Madam Walker and the Divine Dream. Performances will take place on July 10th at 3:00PM & 7:00PM and July 13th at 8:00PM at The Studio at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street). Starring Jennifer Fouche* (Off-Broadway's Sistas), Angela Grovey* (Broadway's Leap of Faith), two time Audelco Award Winner Juson Williams*, Kenya Lee*, Cheryl Gadsden, Annie Lee Moffett*, Carrie Compere* (Broadway bound Holler If You Hear Me, National tourShrek the Musical), Audelco nominated chandra thomas*, and Michael Roberts* (National and International tour West Side Story, Dreamgirls) . The book and lyrics are written by Steve Mackes and music by Joseph-Vernon Banks. Kevin Ray serves as music director and Bayo is stage manager.

Pittsburgh Public Theater's MADE IN AMERICA season continues with Bruce Norris' Clybourne Park, winner of the 2011 Pulitzer Prize, Britain's Olivier Award, and the 2012 Tony Award for Best Play. It is directed by Pamela Berlin, who was at The Public last season to direct Red. This February marks the 15th anniversary of V-Day, the global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. Tonight, February 18th and tomorrow, the 19th, 2013, at 7pm, a V-Day benefit production of Eve Ensler's award winning play The Vagina Monologues will be directed by Andrea Bertola at HERE in New York City, where The Vagina Monologues was first produced in 1996.

Lauren Ferebee's stirring drama Somewhere Safer will be the first play presented by On the Square Productions' Write Angle Reading series at University Settlement. The reading will take place tonight, October 15th at 7:30pm in Speyer Hall where On the Square Production is an Artist-In-Residence for their 2012-2013 season.
