Andrew Keenan-Bolger to Direct Reading of New Musical TARRYTOWN, 3/10

Adam Wachter's original musical Tarrytown will get a private industry reading on Monday, March 10th in New York City. Tarrytown is a one act present day musical loosely based on Washington Irving's 'The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow.' Wachter has written the book, music & lyrics. Andrew Keenan-Bolger ('Submissions Only') directs.

All the Way, the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston, opened on March 6, 2014, on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre. The play is directed by Bill Rauch, Artistic Director of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where All the Way began its theatrical life. Tony-nominated composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Andy Jones (Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella), Heidi Blickenstaff (The Little Mermaid), Ashley Brown (the original Mary Poppins), Merle Dandridge (Tarzan, Aida), Josh Strickland (the original Tarzan), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies), and Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King), will join 4,500 students and teachers representing 93 groups from 26 states and the District of Columbia at the 2014 Junior Theater Festival, it was announced today by Timothy Allen McDonald, founding Chairman of iTheatrics and the Junior Theater Group. The Junior Theater Festival is being held January 17, 18 and 19 at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the second time this season to determine the eligibility of 14 Broadway productions for the 2014 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2013-2014 season to decide the eligibility for the 68th Annual Tony Awards.

THE GLASS MENAGERIE Recoups $2.6 Million Broadway Investment

The Glass Menagerie starts off the New Year with some good news! Producers Jeffrey Richards, John N. Hart Jr. and Jerry Frankel, in association with the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), are pleased to announce that the limited engagement of the critically-acclaimed revival of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) production of The Glass Menagerie at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th Street) has recouped its $2.6 million investment. The production, which began performances on Thursday, September 5, 2013, and officially opened on Thursday, September 26, 2013, will play its final performance on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
