Shakespeare Live! -- celebrating the international legacy of Shakespeare in all the performing arts, including opera, ballet, hip hop, blues, jazz and musical theater, from The Bard's hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon - comes to THIRTEEN's Great Performances, tonight, December 23 at 9 p.m. on PBS to conclude the 2016 PBS Arts Fall Festival. Full casting has today been announced for a major West End revival of Moliere's classic comedy The Miser. The full cast, which includes Mathew Horne, join previously announced Griff Rhys Jones who returns to the West End stage after a five year absence and Lee Mack who makes his West End debut.

Tomorrow, Saturday 23 April 2016 the Royal Shakespeare Company will mark Shakespeare's birthday and the 400th anniversary of his death with a very special event -- SHAKESPEARE LIVE!

The Donmar presents the UK premiere of Elegy by playwright Nick Payne. Directed by Artistic Director Josie Rourke, the full cast is Barbara Flynn as Carrie, Nina Sosanya as Miriam and Zoe Wanamaker as Lorna, all making a return to the Donmar stage. Elegy starts previews from tonight 21 April and imagines a very-near future in which radical and unprecedented advances in medical science mean that it's now possible to extend life.

Potential Difference today announces the world premiere of Darknet, a new play by Rose Lewenstein. Russell Bender directs Robin Berry as Steve/Mitch, Greer Dale-Foulkes as Candy, Jim English as Jamie, Naveed Khan as Gary/John, Ella McLoughlin as Kyla, Gyuri Sarossy as Allen, Rosie Thomson as Stacey. Darknet opens at Southwark Playhouse on 18 April, with previews from 14 April, and runs until 7 May 2016.

Set in Atomic City, USA (otherwise known as Las Vegas), Miss Atomic Bomb at the St James Theatre transports its audience back to 1952. A time when atomic bombs were regularly tested in the desert outside of the city, it focuses on Utah sheep-farmer Candy, played by Florence Andrews in her first leading role.

Award winning star of TV and theatre, Catherine Tate (Assassins, The Catherine Tate Show, The Vote, Doctor Who) and Dean John-Wilson (Aladdin, Here Lies Love), who takes lead role in Disney's Aladdin this summer, will lead the cast in the new musical comedy Miss Atomic Bomb, alongside musical theatre starsFlorence Andrews (A Little Night Music, Annie Get Your Gun), Simon Lipkin (The Lorax, Assassins, Rock of Ages, Avenue Q) and Daniel Boys (Any Dream Will Do, Avenue Q, Spamalot) as it explodes into the UK for its World Premiere at the St James Theatre, Victoria, in Spring 2016. The production will be running from 7 March for a strictly limited five week season, with press night on 14 March 2016.
