Announcing the Off-Broadway transfer of the madcap comedy, Love Child, written and performed by Daniel Jenkins and Robert Stanton with direction by Carl Forsman and choreography by Tracy Bersley. The zany comedy received its New York premiere at Primary Stages last fall where it garnered rave reviews. Performances begin Friday, October 23, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 3, 2010 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Opening night is set for Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) is pleased to announce the addition of two directors to the 25th Anniversary Season celebrating the works of female playwrights: Pam MacKinnon will helm the world premiere production of A Lifetime Burning by Cusi Cram and Tony Award-winner Daniel Sullivan will stage the New York premiere of Charlayne Woodard's solo performance piece, The Night Watcher.

Primary Stages, one of New York's preeminent theater companies, is offering a series of intensive classes in acting and playwriting taught by industry professionals that include PS Staff members Casey Childs (Founder and Executive Producer), Andrew Leynse (Artistic Director), Michelle Bossy (Associate Artistic Director), and returning staff David & Linda Laundra, Tanya Barfield, Blair Singer, Rogelio Martinez, Lucy Thurber and Morgan Jenness.

Lincoln Center Theater will host a memorial for the award winning writer Horton Foote on Monday, May 11 at 4pm at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Mr. Foote, whose most recent play Dividing the Estate was presented on Broadway to critical acclaim earlier this season by Lincoln Center Theater by arrangement with Primary Stages, died on March 4, 2009.

This evening's performance of 'Chasing Manet' at Primary Stages has been cancelled as cast member Vanessa Aspillaga rushes out of town to tend to a family emergency. Donnetta Grey, who recently appeared in 'Shipwrecked! An Entertainment,' will appear onstage, book in hand, when performances resume tomorrow evening at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters.
