Carrie Ann Inaba made her official debut today on THE TALK, joining Eve, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood. Inaba replaces Julie Chen, the wife of ousted CBS CEO Les Moonves.

 Park MGM, Las Vegas' newest resort, celebrated its official grand opening this weekend with the debut of Lady Gaga's residency, the introduction of Las Vegas' first Eataly and the launch of On The Record, a new speakeasy and club.  

Variety reports that Carrie Ann Inaba will assume Julie Chen's chair on “The Talk.” She will join the show in January.

“Dancing with the Stars” is back with a new, dynamic cast of 13 celebrities who are ready to move out of their comfort zones and hit the ballroom floor on a special two-night premiere. The competition begins with a two-hour season premiere, live, MONDAY, SEPT. 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. The show will kick off with an exciting opening number featuring the full cast dancing to Erin Boheme's “I Won't Dance,” choreographed by the show's own Emmy®-winning Mandy Moore.

Television and film star James Denton and model and animal advocate Beth Stern will return to host the 2018 American Humane Hero Dog Awards®, a star-studded annual celebration of heroes on both ends of the leash, honoring outstanding working dogs from around the country. The awards gala, sponsored by the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation and Zoetis Petcare (a U.S. business unit of Zoetis), will also feature Danielle Fishel, Carrie Ann Inaba, Naomi Judd, Bailee Madison, Debbie Matenopoulos, Cameron Mathison, Brandon McMillan, Denise Richards and Alison Sweeney as presenters. Additional celebrity participants and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

“Dancing with the Stars” is waltzing its way into its upcoming season, and the new celebrity cast is adding some glitzy bling to their wardrobe, breaking in their dancing shoes and readying themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, as the season kicks off MONDAY, SEPT. 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. This season's lineup of celebrity dancers includes an “American Idol” mentor, the first-ever blind contestant to take part in the show, an alumnus from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a Duke of Hazzard, an Olympic Gold medal-winning gymnast and a Bachelor Nation favorite, among others.

Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) students are given the opportunity to study alongside esteemed industry leaders, guest artists and teachers as part of the school's third annual Master Artist Series. The innovative series began in celebration of OCSA's 30th anniversary two years ago and continues to bring high-caliber arts professionals to campus, where they collaborate with faculty to create exceptional learning experiences for students. This season's Master Artist Series kicks off with Broadway actor and recording artist David Burnham ("Wicked," "The Light in the Piazza") performing alongside some of OCSA's own musical theatre students during the school's Season Premiere. RIDE Foundation (Robyn & Italo Dance Events), formed by Pro-Am ballroom dance partners, Robyn Shreiber and Italo Elgueta, has announced that its 2nd annual gala event, DANCE FOR FREEDOM, will benefit two of Los Angeles' leading organizations who are dedicated to fighting human trafficking - CAST (Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking), and Journey Out.  RIDE was established in 2016 to create one-of-a-kind dance events for difference-making charities, encompassing humane and ecological causes and featuring the talents of compassionate stars of the dance world. Dance For Freedom will be held at 6PM, at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, with a program featuring top dance and vocal performances produced by Tony Award-winning producer Scott Mauro. 

The Miss America Organization and ABC announced that choreographer, host and dancer Carrie Ann Inaba will host “The 2019 Miss America Competition.” Joining Inaba as co-host for the evening is television personality Ross Mathews when the competition airs live on ABC from Atlantic City's Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall on SUNDAY, SEPT. 9 (9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EDT).

Only a few prime tickets remain for this weekend's Fire Island Dance Festival, featuring three world premieres, a Tony Award-winning choreographer, a Tony-nominated dancer and performers from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet and Paul Taylor Dance Company. Fire Island Dance Festival (#fidance) brings acclaimed dance from an array of styles to a picturesque waterfront stage on the Great South Bay in Fire Island Pines. The festival kicks off with an exclusive Leadership Event this Friday, July 20, and continues with three performances Saturday and Sunday, July 21-22. The event is produced by and benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
