One of the many curated events at the Cornelia Street Cafe, the three day SonicFest, begins on August 16 at 8pm and continues through the 18th of August. Deborah Latz, herself a New York-based jazz singer/songwriter and arranger, is not only the curator of this event, but she is one of the performers.

Jazz at Lincoln Center celebrates International Jazz Appreciation Month with a diverse line-up of artists throughout Frederick P. Rose Hall, the "House of Swing." The exciting offerings in April include an homage to Broadway composers with jazz-oriented roots, sets celebrating International Jazz Day and Duke Ellington's birthday, and an historic showcase of Sy Oliver arrangements performed only once in its entirety in nearly 30 years.

Steely Dan to Play The Beacon Theatre in October

Steely Dan will be offering their New York fans an opportunity to hear the band's three decade plus record catalogue when Walter Becker and Donald Fagen take to The Beacon Theatre stage for an eight night residency starting October 6, 2015. The band has previously performed historic multi-night stands at The Beacon in 2009, 2011 and 2013, staging complete performance of several of their classic albums in their entirety along with “Popular Demand” and “Greatest Hits” evenings.
