Classes begin on Tuesday, January 14 (Newark, New Jersey- December 23, 2014) The New Jersey Performing Arts Center's Young Artist Institute, part of NJPAC's Center for Education, is currently accepting applications for its Spring semester of after-school classes, open to young people ages 10 to 18. Registration takes place NOW through Monday, January 5. Classes are offered in dance, acting, music theory/ear training, jazz, a piano lab, as well as the opportunity to learn how to sing in a chorus by joining the NJPAC Youth Chorus.
After more than thirty years, the Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company is coming home. The Morris Museum is pleased to announce that the Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company will perform at the Bickford Theatre on Sunday, October 26 at 2:00pm. A pre-concert reception will take place at 12:30pm.

Chu will begin creation on an original full-length work - a solo project inspired by Las Vegas lounge acts of the 1960's, which will enjoy its US premiere in Las Vegas in 2015.
Randy James' all male dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, appears at New York Live Arts tonight, June 26-28 at 7:30 pm and June 29 at 2:00 pm. Continuing the company's aggressive repertory expansion that explores the range of the male dancer, the four performances feature two programs with works by Julie Bour, David Dorfman and Dan Froot, Doug Elkins, Tiffany Mills, David Parker, Claire Porter and Randy James. The performance features all ten of the company members. The company is now double our size since our founding in 2012.

Festival of Dance will feature New Jersey's top dance companies as well as the leading emerging dance troupes from around the state. Over the course of two evenings, nine dance companies with genres from Irish to modern, ballet to tap, and styles from around the world. The opening night's program will feature the two of the state's leading dance companies, and will include two world premieres from Randy James' all male dance company 10 Hairy Legs as well as a world premiere from The Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company.

Randy James' all male dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, will perform Just Suits at Crossroads Theatre, 7 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick on August 24 at 5:00 pm as part of Hub City Sound's 2013 month long festival of music and dance. Admission is free.
