Broadway's new musical comedy DISASTER!, directed by Jack Plotnick with a book by three-time Emmy Award nominee and Grammy Award nominee Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, officially opened last night, March 8, 2016, for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 3, 2016. Cabaret Artist, Solo Performer and Stand Up Comic, D'yan Forest's new solo show, A Broad Abroad! will have its New York City Premiere at the 10th Annual FRIGID Festival on February 16th. The critically acclaimed solo show, which was written by D'yan Forest and Erik Kornfeld, premiered at The Orlando Fringe Festival last May. D'yan Forest performs her unique style of stand up, regularly at the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC. She also performs her solo shows in New York, throughout the US and in Paris. Erik Kornfeld, who has written for Bette Midler and for The Rosie O'Donnel Show, directs.
The performance will be held on Sunday, November 15 at 3pm. Cabaret on the Hudson is a series that features three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester, NY.

More than $500,000 was raised in support of older foster kids needing permanent families with the help of Broadway and Hollywood heavy-hitters last night at the St. James Theatre, including Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Darren Criss, Tituss Burgess, Megan Hilty, Caroline Rhea and many more. The inaugural event, hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley with BeachBody.com, supported youth in foster care through You Gotta Believe, New York's only nonprofit specifically focused on finding permanent families for youth in foster care aged 10 year and older, and the Council on Adoptable Children (COAC).
