Cabaret Artist, Solo Performer and Stand Up Comic, D'yan Forest's new solo show, A Broad Abroad! will have its New York City Premiere at the 10th Annual FRIGID Festival on February 16th. The critically acclaimed solo show, which was written by D'yan Forest and Erik Kornfeld, premiered at The Orlando Fringe Festival last May. D'yan Forest performs her unique style of stand up, regularly at the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC. She also performs her solo shows in New York, throughout the US and in Paris. Erik Kornfeld, who has written for Bette Midler and for The Rosie O'Donnel Show, directs.

8 Decades of Music, Madness, and "Foreign Affairs." Classy comedic "femme fatale," D'yan Forest brings you her new show, A Broad Abroad to the New York Frigid Festival. The solo show takes you on her adventures, which began in Paris in 1955. Her comedy and songs (sung in French, Italian & German) include anecdotes about her swains throughout Europe including Italy, Austria and Jordan! Not only is she joined by her longtime pianist, Richard Danley, she also accompanies herself with the piano and ukulele. She's an innovative 81 year old performer. The Daily News says, "She surprises and tantalizes her audiences with her unique style."

D'yan Forest (co-writer/performer) is a one of a kind performer. She's not just another 81 year-old Singer/Actress, Stand Up Comic, Cabaret Artist. She's an 81-year-old Singer/Actress, Stand Up Comic, Cabaret Artist, who plays the ukulele! Critics have called her everything from "saucy","witty" and "irrepressible" to names we can't print here. D'yan has been entertaining around the world for seven decades and at 80, she's busier than ever. Her current one person show, "A Broad Abroad" has been well received at Fringe Festivals in the United States and in Paris, where she performs the show in French.

While attending the Cite Universitaire de Paris, she began appearing in cafes, cabarets and nightclubs throughout the City Of Lights under the stage name, Diana Shulman. Paris appearances led to performing in other European countries. D'yan developed an international act with songs in nine languages and over the past few years, she's not only become a fixture in Manhattan Cabarets like The Metropolitan Room, The Duplex, The Ukulele Cabaret and The Cutting Room, but she can also be seen working on her distinctive stand up act (complete with ukulele) at Gotham Comedy Club, The Broadway Comedy Club, Le Poisson Rouge, UNDER St. Marks, and Dixon Place where she has developed her last two solo shows.

Erik Kornfeld (co-writer/director) is a writer, director, songwriter who has written on THE ROSIE O'DONNEL SHOW (Emmy Nomination), THE CAROLINE RHEA SHOW, for VH1, MTV, HBO, CBS, Nickelodeon and others. As Bette Midler's head writer for 14 years, he wrote her KISS MY BRASS TOUR and her Vegas extravaganza, THE SHOWGIRL MUST GO ON, which ran on HBO (Emmy Nomination). He writes Betty Buckley's special material, worked with the great John Pinette, the immortal Elaine Stritch and has written song parodies for Barry Manilow, Hugh Jackman, Rita Moreno, Jane Krakowski and Roseanne Cash to name a few. His musical (book & lyrics), LOVE IN THE MIDDLE AGES enjoyed two sold out Off Broadway runs and was named "Fringe Favorite" in the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival.
