Mercury Theatre Colchester and TBO Productions present the world premiere of their brand-new musical - Pieces of String, with book, music and lyrics by Gus Gowland. Ryan McBryde directs Carol Starks (Jane), Andy Coxon (Ed), Marilyn Cutts (Rose), Ella Dunlop (Gemma), Lauren Hall (Anna), Joel Harper-Jackson (Tom), Craig Mather (Edward) and Gary Wood (Harry). Open auditions were held in Colchester to cast Young Rose, and the part will be alternated by three young people local to the theatre. Pieces of String, designed by 2017 Linbury Prize Finalist Fin Redshaw, opens on 27 April at the Mercury, with previews from 20 April and runs until 5 May.

Lost J.B. Priestley Play THE ROUNDABOUT to Make U.S. Debut at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of THE ROUNDABOUT written by J.B. Priestley, directed by Hugh Ross, and part of Brits Off Broadway. Produced by Cahoots Theatre Company, The Other Cheek & Park Theatre, THE ROUNDABOUT begins performances on Thursday, April 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 28.  Press Opening is Sunday, April 30 at 3 PM.

59E59 Theaters Announces the 2017 BRITS OFF BROADWAY Lineup

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to announce the 2017 line-up for Brits Off Broadway, the critically acclaimed annual festival of New British Theater. Now in its 13th Season, Brits Off Broadway kicks off on Tuesday, April 4 and runs through Sunday, July 2.  Single ticket prices range from $25 - $70 ($20 - $49 for 59E59 Members).

Steven Blakeley to Star in THE ROUNDABOUT Revival at Park Theatre

The first major revival in eighty years of THE ROUNDABOUT, a recently rediscovered comedy by one of Britain's most prolific playwrights JB Priestley - beloved for such classics as An Inspector Calls and Time and the Conways. THE ROUNDABOUT, directed by Hugh Ross, will play at Park Theatre from 24 August to 24 September, with a press night on 25 August.
