Lori Sokol, Executive Director of Women's eNews, has announced the Honorees for its 20th annual 21 Leaders for the 21st Century Awards Gala, to take place on October 26 at Club 101 in New York City. The event was previously scheduled for May 4.
Today, May 12th, 2012, Brooke Shields, Frankie Valli, Carol Baldwin, Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini, and General Raymond Odierno join other Ellis Island Medals of Honor recipients at a Pre-Gala Reception hosted by the National Ethnic Coalition (NECO) at 4 p.m. at The Ritz Carlton New York, Battery Park. NECO will present the 26th Annual Ellis Island Medal of Honor Ceremony on Ellis Island at 6:30 p.m. The Ceremony will be followed by a Gala Dinner in the historic Great Hall. WPIX-11 Senior Correspondent Marvin Scott and renowned entertainer Tom Dreesen will be the Masters of Ceremony.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' "Monday Nights with Oscar' series will kick off 2011 with a screening of "Wild River" (1960), starring Montgomery Clift, on Monday, January 24, at 7 p.m. at the Academy Theater at Lighthouse International in New York City.
