Frank Wildhorn returned to his roots at the Pantages Theatre, where he got his start in the lobby of the Pantages and played to a group that included J. 'From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place 7:00 pm tonight, January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. The evening will be a concert of love and healing for the Newtown community from the composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway together with over 100 students from several Newtown dance groups and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir. All proceeds and donations will go directly to United Way of Western Connecticut's Sandy Hook School Support Fund.

Broadway Records announced that the new Jekyll & Hyde 2012 Concept Recording will be released on iTunes today, September 21st and on CD on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012. The new concept recording is produced by Frank Wildhorn, Jason Howland, and Billy Jay Stein and executive produced by Van Dean, Kenny Howard and Ken Mahoney. BroadwayWorld.com and Broadway Records are co-sponsoring a liner notes essay contest for the new Jekyll & Hyde studio concept recording. Fans will have the opportunity to submit a 250 to 500 word essay for consideration. Five finalists will be chosen by the staff of BroadwayWorld.com in consultation with Broadway Records. Frank Wildhorn, Constantine Maroulis and Broadway Records will select the Grand Prize Winner who will have his or her liner notes essay will be included in the upcoming recording.

Yesterday, June 3, The 57th Annual Drama Desk Awards were held at The Town Hall, celebrating this year's big winners. The festivities were presided over by star of stage and screen Brooke Shields and Broadway favorite - and previous Drama Desk winner - Brian d'Arcy James.
