The Ogunquit Playhouse recently announced that star of stage, screen and television Valerie Harper would star in the role of the wealthy and stylish 'Millicent Winter' in the delightful Nice Work If You Can Get It, on stage tonight, July 22, to August 15.

Platinum-selling and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, Chris Isaak returns to the Fred Kavli Theatre, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 7:30 pm.

One of the Midwest's leading, professional equity theaters presenting both regional and world premieres, Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, is thrilled to offer an array of special events and performances in addition to their exceptional 2015 Anniversary Season. Kicking off the lineup is a jam packed weekend of entertainment with Harbor Lights' Tribute to Doo-Wop, Chicagoland's hottest doo-wop vocal quintet performing entirely in a cappella on August 21, followed by M&R Rush on August 22.Switchback may be known for their Celtic hits but will treat audiences to a special bluegrass concert, Switchback Americana, on September 27. The Neverly Brothers will delight with their fun synthesis of rockabilly and 60's British Invasion on October 31. Rounding out the lineup is A Jersey Voice: Sinatra to Springsteen and Everyone In Between on December 31. Ring in the New Year with some of America's beloved classics including songs from Dean Martin, Billy Joel and Frankie Valli.

Nashville, Tennessee famously nick-named Music City, USA is home to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry and, of course, a plethora of major record labels including Sun Records where Rock and Roll was born.  With such a rich music legacy it's no surprise that many of Rock & Roll's best and brightest passed through Nashville at some point during their celebrated careers.  On Saturday, August 1 at 8pm Centenary Stage Company's Summer Jamfest brings the “rock and roll” sound of Music City to the Sitnik Theater of the David and Carol Lackland Center with Nashville Legends.

Million Dollar Quartet, the longest-running Broadway musical production in Chicago's history, has been extended through January 17, 2016.  With over 2,000 performances and nearly 7 smash years in Chicago, the Tony Award-winning rock 'n' roll musical holds the record for the longest-running Broadway musical in Chicago.  A new block of tickets, for performance from September 30, 2015-January 17, 2016 will go on sale on Friday, July 17, 2016.

In celebration of the smash-hit musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET's 1,000th performance on the Las Vegas Strip this August, local non-profit Opportunity Village's Village Blend vocal group will join the cast onstage for a special encore performance on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Harrah's Las Vegas Showroom. Members of Village Blend will take the stage for a one-night-only performance of Carl Perkins' legendary tune 'Blue Suede Shoes' alongside the talented cast during the finale.

This brand-new musical written by Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro is based on material by Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse and was nominated in 2012 for 10 Tony Awards, winning two. This high-stepping Broadway musical recalls the golden age of American musicals, complete with extravagant dance numbers, glittering Broadway costumes and a treasure trove of George and Ira Gershwin's most beloved songs, including "But Not For Me," "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," "I've Got a Crush on You" and "Someone to Watch Over Me."

Bottom line? If you have an opportunity to check out one of the four remaining performances at Wolf Trap this weekend, it is worthwhile to do so.

The national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will celebrate the closing of its 4th season on the road on Sunday, June 28.  Inspired by the electrifying true story of four rock 'n' roll icons, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET played over 60 cities in the last year from Anchorage and Oklahoma City to St. Louis and Buffalo, and will conclude at Vienna, VA's beautiful outdoor venue, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.
