Christopher Marlowe's 1587 epic Tamburlaine, Parts I and II, edited and directed by Olivier Award-winner Michael Boyd and starring John Douglas Thompson, opens Sunday, November 16, at 1:00pm at Theatre for a New Audience, Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place.

Directed and edited by Olivier Award-winner Michael Boyd, former Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Marlowe's two-part drama will be performed as one 3.5-hour play, plus a 30-minute intermission.

Tony Award-winner Jason Alexander hits the stage for one night only to perform his original and hilarious solo show, An Evening with Jason Alexander and His Hair, at Hennepin Theatre Trust's State Theatre at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014.
