The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) will present NEO6, a benefit concert celebrating New, Emerging, Outstanding musical theatre writers, this Monday, May 10 at its home in Saint Peter's Theatre. Following the 7:30 PM performance (featuring the voices of many of today's top musical theatre talent), there will be a champagne and dessert reception to end the evening.

On Monday, April 26th, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly showcase for emerging writers and performers at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater, which will feature the music of Barbara Anselmi, songs from the 2009 NYMF production of All Fall Down, and songs from NYTB's commissioned musical Speargrove Presents.

A selection of Broadway's treasured compositions, and a debut of original pieces, will be sung by Natalie Douglas (2008 MAC Award Winner, 2008 Nightlife Award Winner), Alison Fraser (THE SECRET GARDEN, GYPSY), Lisa Howard (...SPELLING BEE, SOUTH PACIFIC, 9 TO 5), Kevin Michael Murphy (YouTube's break out star, Craig Stevens), and Michael Winther (33 VARIATIONS, THE CRUCIBLE, MAMMA MIA!, 1776, DAMN YANKEES), and Camp Broadway Kids from over 30 cities around the country. The concert will take place at the Peter Norton Symphony Space on April 13 at 7:30pm.

Daniel Zaitchik & The Blue Bottle Collection will present a series of concerts for their newest venture, SUMMER OF THE SODA FOUNTAIN GIRLS, at Urban Stages on December 11th and 12th. The band will perform the concerts in advance of recording the CD, expected early next year. The concept is brought to life on stage with video art projections by Alex Koch and direction by Erika Christensen.
