VIDEO: SundanceTV Releases New Teaser for THIS CLOSE Season Two

SundanceTV released the official key art and a new teaser for season two of the critically acclaimed original dramedy This Close, premiering on Thursday, September 12 at 9:00p.m. PT/midnight ET. The expanded second season, featuring eight, half-hour episodes, will air with two back-to-back episodes on Thursday, September 12 and Friday, September 13, and the following week on Thursday, September 19 and Friday, September 20. This season will also stream on AMCPremiere where you can currently catch up on season one.

AMC Networks announced today from the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including IFC's Baroness von Sketch Show, which has been picked up for a fifth season, and programming events, including AMC's FearFest and newly expanded Best Christmas Ever holiday celebration, which will air across all of AMC Networks.

Disney Television Studios Announces 14 Panels for Comic-Con

Disney Television Studios including Twentieth Century Fox Television, ABC Studios and Fox 21 Television Studios takes over the San Diego Comic-Con convention with stars and creators of 14 of its fan-favorite shows descending on the world-famous gathering next month. In addition to exclusive sneak peeks of its programs and panel discussions with the casts and creators, the studio will rotate producers and stars through the ABC and 20th Century Fox Television booths on the convention center floor for autograph signings and activities, including distribution of exclusive 2019 poster tubes, collectible mini-posters, premium giveaways and DVD sales.

SundanceTV announced today that season two of the critically acclaimed dramedy series This Close, created, written by and starring Shoshannah Stern and Josh Feldman, will premiere on Thursday, September 12 at 9:00p.m. PT/midnight ET. The expanded second season, featuring eight, half-hour episodes, will air with two back-to-back episodes on Thursday, September 12 and Friday, September 13 and the following week on Thursday, September 19 and Friday, September 20. Sundance Now, AMC Networks' premium video streaming service, today announced actors Marcia Cross (“Desperate Housewives”), Camryn Manheim (“Waco”), Austin Nichols (“The Walking Dead”), Lisa Rinna (“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”), Margaret Cho (“Bright”) and Millicent Simmonds (A Quiet Place) will guest star in the second season of “This Close.” They will join guest stars Zach Gilford, Colt Prattes, Marlee Matlin, Cheryl Hines, Nyle DiMarco, and Moshe Kasher who will reprise their roles from season one. The expanded second season features eight, 30-minute episodes, and is currently filming in Los Angeles. New episodes will be available on Sundance Now in 2019.
