Mikaela Sullivan and Cliff Gabor Will Lead Big Noise Theatre's KISS ME, KATE

KISS ME, KATE, directed by Chris Causer, is led by Mikaela Sullivan and Cliff Gabor as Lilli Vanessi/Katherine and Fred Graham/Petruchio, respectively. The cast also features Heidi Hansfield (Lois Lane/Bianca), Tyler Sonkin (Bill Calhoun/Lucentio), Jenilee Houghton (First Gangster), Jessica James (Second Gangster), Anthony C. Brown (General Harrison Howell), Ken Rubenstein (Harry Trevor/Baptista), Korinne Yonan (Hattie), Larry D. Between Two Boroughs gave Broadway World an exclusive sneak peek inside rehearsals for their upcoming World Premiere of Charise Greene's Cannibal Galaxy: a love story, directed by Jenn Haltman which will run at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street between Washington and Greenwich Street), June 8-17. The cast features Jason C. Brown* (Much Ado About Nothing with Classics in Color; The Misanthrope with NYTW), Robin Galloway* (The Master Builder with Wallace Shawn; Sense & Sensibility with Cape Fear), Olivia Oguma* (Luce with LCT3; Emotional Creature with Signature), Dominic F. Russo (Gruff! The Musical with Vital Theatre; 'Gotham' on NBC), Becca Schneider (Platonov and A Christmas Carol with Blessed Unrest), and Jo Yang* (Comfort Women at Urban Stages; 'The Affair' on Showtime).

Milagro Announces Season 35: Fantasy, Fairy Tales, and Folklore

Milagro, the Northwest's premier Latino arts and culture organization announces Season 35: Fantasy, Fairy Tales, and Folklore, featuring Milagro's annual Dia de Muertos celebration, three additional world premieres-including a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere, a national touring production, and the U.S. premiere of a Spanish-language play from Costa Rica! It is a season of stories of fantastical creatures, great heroes and heroines, mystical monsters, magical beings, and spirits from another world.

San Francisco Conservatory of Music Establishes Program with Community Partners to Provide Music Instruction for Children in Need

The Koret Foundation has awarded the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) $150,000 to establish a music education program with the Third Baptist Church of San Francisco, Congregation Emanu-El, and the San Francisco Interfaith Council. Launching in the fall of 2018, this after-school program will offer children in need music classes in piano and chorus. The grant will be dispersed in three installments over three years. Additionally, Music Exchange and the Yamaha Corporation will donate 16 keyboards designed for a class piano setup to help launch the program.

THE SHAKESPEARE CONSPIRACY Begins Previews At Theater Row, 4/20

Fledgling Theatre Company, under the Artistic Direction of Matthew Dalton Lynch has announced dates for the New York Premiere of Ted Bacino and Rufus Cadigan's THE SHAKESPEARE CONSPIRACY, a new play (based on Mr. Bacino's book of the same title) that explores the greatest literary deception of all time. The production is directed by Jeremy Karafin and will run April 20th - May 5th in the Studio Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street). The official opening will be on Tuesday, April 27 at 7:30PM. It will run as part of the first annual BATTLE OF THE BARDS: THE CHRISTOPHER MARLOWE FESTIVAL, a new six week festival that features two original plays about William Shakespeare & Christopher Marlowe and chronicles the life that Marlowe would have lived as a fugitive, hiding not only his gay sexuality, but also his identity as the actual author of Shakespeare's works.

Much Ado About Classics In Color

Classics in Color: An INclusive Theatre Company (CiC) brings the classical story of 'Much Ado About Nothing' in Shakespeare's words to present day New York City, March 21st - 25th, 2018. 'Much Ado' is CiC's first full solo production as a company, allowing its mission to shine in every aspect of the production: inclusive casting, inclusive producing team, inclusive team of designers, performed in a fully accessible venue, for audiences and actors with, or without, disabilities.

Sierra Rep Opens 2018 Season with Mega-Hit MAMMA MIA!

Sierra Repertory Theatre opens its 2018 season with Mamma Mia!, the international smash-hit musical.
