Grand Rapids Pops has announced the shows coming to its stage in its 2020-21 season.

Last night, under the banner a?oePittsburgh Symphony and You: Extraordinary Together,a?? the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra announced its 125th anniversary season that will feature special collaborations, artist debuts, world premieres, Pittsburgh premieres, new commissions, a new Steinway piano and significant Pittsburgh firsts.

Houston Symphony Music Director Andrés Orozco-Estrada and CEO/Executive Director John Mangum, holder of the Margaret Alkek Williams Chair, announced the details of the 2020a?"21 season, Orozco-Estrada's seventh as music director. Orozco-Estrada and the Houston Symphony enter the next decade of music-making with works by Beethoven, in honor of his  250th birthday celebration; new music from contemporary composers; Symphony Specials with pianists Lang Lang and Leif Ove Andsnes; solo performances from Concertmaster Yoonshin Song and other Houston Symphony musicians; and a new, three-year Artistic Partnership with legendary violinist Itzhak Perlman.

The centennial of renowned American composer Leonard Bernstein is celebrated throughout the National Philharmonic's 2018-2019 concert series at The Music Center at Strathmore. Performing compositions that influenced Bernstein, as well as some of his very own famous works, the National Philharmonic will be the only symphony orchestra dedicating most of its 2018-2019 season to the works surrounding the legendary composer. 

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra announces its 2018-2019 Season today, including five concerts on the FAIRWINDS Classics Series, and five programs of two concerts each on the Pops Series, with all performances taking place at Bob Carr Theater. The Focus Series includes five concerts that take place at The Plaza Live Theater. Summer programming will be announced at a later date.

The Philly POPS announced its 40th Anniversary 2018-19 concert season today. Subscriptions for this celebratory 40th Anniversary Season go on sale at 10 a.m. Moe Septee founded the POPS in November 1979 with a concert at the Academy of Music. Celebrated jazz pianist Peter Nero conducted the POPS from 1979 until 2013.

The 27th annual Arizona Musicfest Winter Festival will bring a deeply diverse lineup of exceptional artists, repertoires and musical styles to Valley venues beginning with Chita Rivera and Tommy Tune: Just in Time on Jan. 26. The 19-concert schedule concludes on March 16 with Decades Rewind that turns back the clock to the music of the 60s, 70s and 80s.

The San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) today announces the appointment of vocalist Carmen Bradford to its Roots, Jazz, and American Music (RJAM) faculty.

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) and the Santa Rosa Symphony announced the rescheduled performance date for What a Wonderful World: A Tribute to Louis Armstrong as Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3 p.m. The 2017 2018 Symphony Pops series will now kick-off with A Holly Jolly Pops on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 3 p.m. Tickets for the concert originally scheduled on October 22, 2017 of What a Wonderful World will be honored at the rescheduled performance.
