Tony award-winning singer, actress and American icon, Bernadette Peters performs with the Pasadena POPS for one night only tonight, June 29 at 7:30 pm at the Los Angeles Arboretum. The star of stage, film and television will sing from her extensive songbook including 'Let Me Entertain You' (Gypsy), 'No One Is Alone' (Into the Woods), 'Some Enchanted Evening' (South Pacific), 'Send in the Clowns' (A Little Night Music), 'Being Alive' (Company) plus signature songs from her illustrious career.
The Board of Directors for the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre (BRIFT) has announced plans for a major fundraising event to be sponsored by and held at the L'Auberge Resort in St. Charles, Louisiana. The fundraiser, which will include a special appearance by the Bandit himself will be a three day whirlwind of fun. In the planning stages are a Burt Reynolds Poker Tournament, a golf tournament and a lavish evening gala celebrating Reynolds and his 55+ year career.
Nelly will perform for a fundraising concert, presented by Vatterott College for only $36 per ticket. This one-night only concert benefiting the Vatterott College Scholarship Fund takes place at The Pageant, 6161 Delmar Blvd, on August 3. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Utilizing specially designed props and some unusual devices for sound effects, the performers will reenact the mystery surrounding the murder of Harry Lime, a man who was not what he appeared to be. Audience participation is part of the fun.
