Sacramento Music Circus has announced the casting for its sixtieth summer season. The seven-show season will include the Music Circus premieres of 'Spamalot,' 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' and 'The Marvelous Wonderettes' and new stagings of 'Oklahoma!,' 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,' '42nd Street' and 'Funny Girl,' the latter returning to Music Circus after an 18-year absence.

Stephanie J. Block, Broadway star of '9 to 5: The Musical,' 'Wicked,' 'The Pirate Queen,' and 'The Boy From Oz,' will star opposite Jason Alexander, Artistic Director of Reprise Theatre Company, in 'They're Playing Our Song,' the opening production of the company's 2010-2011 season, playing September 28 to October 10 (press opening September 29) at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

Best known for creating the role of Gaston in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, Burke Moses has played some amazing leading roles during his theatrical career. In the upcoming Theater of the Stars production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, he has the opportunity once again to pick up the whistle of Captain Georg Von Trapp (he most recently played to role in the acclaimed Toronto production) and command a new brigade of Von Trapp children on stage at Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theatre. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) presents the world premiere of the musical Johnny Baseball by Richard Dresser, Robert Reale, and Willy Reale, directed by Diane Paulus. The music & lyrics of Bobby Cronin in Los Angeles is a one-night only all new concert of ASCAP winning composer/writer Bobby Cronin's music. On Thursday May 27th at Barre on Vermont, the concert will feature songs written for Bobby's numerous projects in the works; THE BEATEN PATH, TIL DEATH DO US PART, CATY BRIDGEWATER, The Untitled Project, and (UN)LUCKY IN LOVE. The concert will feature Cronin on the piano for a night of rockin' uptempos, passionate ballads, comedic tunes, and honest anthems.
