BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY will be performed at the Harris Center on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 7:30 pm and Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2 & 7:30 pm.

Legendary guitarist/songwriter Jorma Kaukonen is touring for his upcoming release, Ain't In No Hurry, out on February 17, 2015. He will stop at Stage One, 70 Stanford St, Fairfield, CT on Saturday, March 14, 2015.

Considered 'the world's most successful rock ' roll musical' after more than 25 years of continuous touring, 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story' arrives at the Gallo Center for the Arts for one performance at 3 pm on Sunday, March 8. More than 20 million people worldwide have seen the musical since its debut in London's West End a quarter century ago.

?Kyle DeSantis, President of Drury Lane Theatre, announces today that the Broadway-bound production, BEACHES will replace DEATHTRAP from June 24 through August 16 during the 2015-2016 season. Presenting the first new work on the Drury Lane stage in 21 years, BEACHES signifies the theater's renewed dedication to develop new works.

Prior to its West End appearance in February 2015, The Simon and Garfunkel Story' is currently the biggest and the most successful No 1 touring theatre show celebrating the lives and career of Folk/Rock sensation Simon and Garfunkel.

'All our stories this year will be about families or individuals who are broken, but they come back to make the best of it - to survive. That is our job as human beings, and if our shows can give somebody the strength and courage to do just that, then we in the theatre are doing our jobs.' Curt Dale Clark, Artistic Director of Maine State Music Theatre, is waxing eloquent about the company's plans for the 2015 summer season, the fifty-seventh for the company, and his second in the leadership position. Together with his partner, Managing Director, Stephanie Dupal, Clark outlines their plans for what they hope will be a worthy encore to last year's spectacularly successful season.

One of the first - if not the first jukebox musicals, The Buddy Holly Story is short on plot and high on the unique rock and roll music of Buddy Holly. This is my second time seeing the show - I first saw it on its American tour in 1999. The music I grew up with in the 50s is so appealing, that I sing along to every tune and move and groove in my seat from start to finish. If you are of that nature - and it seemed that many in the audience on opening weekend fit the bill - then you will have a really good time at Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theatre through February 22. Remember, it's enjoyable fare with no need to think, just set your mind to the relax mode!

Last August, the 12.14 Foundation premiered Michael Unger and Eric Svejcar's A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream. This week, the new musical comes to New York City at 54 BELOW.
