New Village Arts Theatre has announced its winter production of the Tony Award-Winning musical, THE SECRET GARDEN, directed by the award-winning Rosina Reynolds.

A family classic has been given a fresh twist in Connecticut's own A Connecticut Christmas Carol by LJ Fecho and Michael O'Flaherty. Goodspeed Musicals continues its commitment to fresh, innovative works with this new musical infused with Connecticut flavor. A Connecticut Christmas Carol will run November 17 December 24, 2017 at The Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn.

Continuing a Halloween-season tradition at the historic New Hope venue, Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) presents its popular production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show for an extended run through Sunday, October 29, 2017. Randy Harrison, best known for the iconic role of Justin on Showtime's Queer as Folk, joins the cast and makes his Playhouse debut in the role of as Dr. Frank-n-Furter. Acclaimed professional storyteller, actress, teacher, coach, writer and entrepreneur, Michaela Murphy, was recently appointed Director of Education at Bucks County Playhouse.

'Shakespeare in Love' will be onstage at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey through November 12. Based on the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard, the show is directed by the theatre's Artistic Director, Bonnie J. Monte with music by Paddy Cunneen. The first North American tour of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE begins tonight, October 7, 2017 in Schenectady, New York at Proctors. The tour will have its official opening October 17, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland at The Hippodrome Theatre.

Bucks County Playhouse's Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, Producing Director Alexander Fraser and Producers Stephen Kocis and Joshua Fiedler announced final casting for the production, which features direction by Hunter Foster (BCP's Clue: On Stage and Guys and Dolls ) with choreography by Lorin Latarro (BCP's Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story and Broadway's Waitress ).
