Due to high ticket demand, Second Stage Theater has announced a one-week extension of the world premiere musical SUPERHERO. The production will now play through Sunday, March 31, 2019.

Second Stage Theater has released a sneak peek music video of 'What's Happening to My Boy?' from the World Premiere musical, Superhero. The song is performed by cast member Tony nominee Kate Baldwin, accompanied by composer/lyricist Tom Kitt on the piano. Watch below!

Over the past hundred years the theater community has celebrated some of the most notable events in Broadway's history at the Friars Club.   Last night the Barrington Stage Co. the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, Ma. under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd held their New York City Benefit in the legendary building where so many legends of the theater community have socialized and entertained each other.   John Rando the famed director was celebrated for his extraordinary talent and his contributions to BSC.  John has directed two of the most popular musicals in BSC history, The Pirates of Penzance and On the Town, which transferred to Broadway and received four Tony Award nominations, including Best Director.  At BSC John also directed The Royal Family of Broadway and Guys and Dolls and on Broadway, he won a Tony Award for his direction of Urinetown, The Musical.

Bay Area Cabaret welcomes Tony Award nominee KATE BALDWIN for her West Coast cabaret debut on Sunday, November 4 at 5:00 p.m. in a new show titled How'd You Get This Number? featuring signature songs from her acclaimed performances in Finian's Rainbow, Giant, Big Fish and Hello Dolly! 

Ramin Karimloo's extensive work in musical theatre includes Love Never Dies, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera and Anastasia. This October, he's taking part in Seth Rudetsky's Broadway @ Leicester Square Theatre concerts.

Every year, more than 44,900 people die by suicide in the United States, making suicide the 10th leading cause of death in this country. In an effort to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention, Tony Nominated Actor Bryce Pinkham will be running the New York City Marathon on November 4, for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's New York City Chapter.
