Martha Plimpton recently appeared on the program Studio 360, performing the Bruce Springsteen hit, 'Thunder Road.' She was joined by Dan Lipton on piano and Eric Gilliland whistling. The performance took place at WNYC's Jerome L. Greene Performance Space on May 6, 2010.

Producer Sid Ganis announced today that Don Mischer Productions will join him in producing the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Second Annual Governors Awards. One or more of the Academy's highest honors - the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and the Honorary Award - will be presented at the event, set for Saturday, November 13.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County proudly announces the premiere of ROCK ODYSSEY, a spectacular theatrical production that will be seen by every fifth-grader in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. In total, more than 26,000 fifth graders will participate in the pilot program, which was created by the Adrienne Arsht Center in conjunction with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The show will afford young people the opportunity to experience live theater in Miami's premier performing arts center, at no cost to them or their schools. ROCK ODYSSEY will run from April 27 - May 8, 2010 in the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall. This arts education program is made possible with the generous support of Miami-Dade County and additional funding from Funding Arts Network.

Matthew Morrison doesn't think much of the fame he has achieved in his successful role as Will Schuester on the hit Fox television show, GLEE. In a recent interview with the LA Times, Morrison says he is often awed by the people he meets that now recognize him.
