One of Bruce Springsteen's longtime Asbury Park buddies is Southside Johnny. He had the same commitment to music as Bruce and recorded 'The Fever' which Bruce wrote and gave to his friend Johnny to record. It was on this song that Johnny built his rock career which includes his hits 'I Don't Want To Go Home', 'All I Want Is Everything', 'Havin' A Party' and, of course, 'The Fever'.
