Bruce Springsteen opened his first night of concerts at Auckland, NZ's Mt. Smart Stadium with an unforgettable cover of Lorde's hit song 'Royals.'

Ralph Macchio and Mario Cantone will headline the cast of a special industry reading of A Room of My Own, the anticipated new comedy written and directed by Charles Messina. Mr. Macchio and Mr. Cantone will be joined by a cast that includes Colin Critchley, Gina Ferranti, Kendra Jain, and Johnny Tammaro. The invitation only reading is set for Monday, March 17, 2014 on the Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

Pop-Rock Idol, Rick Springfield brings his Stripped Down Tour to The Colonial Theatre on March 26 at 7:30pm. Rick Springfield fans will get to witness the pop-rock idol as they've never seen him before in his first-ever solo acoustic tour! In addition to playing unplugged versions of many of his memorable tunes, Springfield will share stories about the songs and his life during the performances and do a Q&A session with fans after the performance.

Tonight, February 28 at 8:00 PM, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music will host the premiere screening of Essie Jain's film album, All Became Golden, a visual 5.1 surround-sound version of the album conceived by Jain and director Natalie Johns with music arranged by Nico Muhly. The project was recorded at The DiMenna Center in February 2012. Together with its first public screening, Jain will give a live performance with members of Orchestra of St. Luke's, followed by a conversation with the artist and filmmaker.

ISLE of KLEZBOS, the soulful and swinging all-women's klezmer sextet, will release their second album with a special concert at JOE'S PUB at the Public on Sunday, April 6 at 7:30 PM. The new disc, Live from Brooklyn - recorded in concert last year at Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts, with the addition of two bonus studio numbers - will be available from Rhythm Media Records. Formed in 1998, the group approaches their music with a canny mix of irreverence and respect. Live from Brooklyn features the group's signature diverse blend of rambunctious folk dances, exciting Yiddish swing, entrancing retro tango, klezmerengue, re-grooved standards, and genre-defying originals. The album will be available on iTunes, in stores and wherever music is sold.

CYNTHIA SAYER, the internationally celebrated jazz banjoist, will lead her all-star quartet in 'The Banjo Show' at Joe's Pub at the Public in a rare New York City concert appearance on Friday, March 7 at 7:00 PM. The founding member of Woody Allen's jazz band, who honed her virtuoso chops playing with many legendary artists, is on a mission to popularize the 4-string banjo, the cultured cousin of the familiar 5-string bluegrass banjo. Sayer's vocals are divine and her banjo a driving force of nature - think Django Reinhardt meets Bela Fleck - as she swings her audience through the colorful story and surprising range of what the 4-string can do, including hot jazz, tango, Great American Songbook, vaudeville, classical, roots music and more.
