Complete casting has been announced for WOMEN OF A CERTAIN AGE: THE MUSICAL™ ahead of the production’s official world premiere and 'Take a Shot' tour launch in Phoenix later this month.

Mark your calendar as MAY WE ALL: A NEW COUNTRY MUSICAL Producer Brian Kelley will take the stage during opening night of the show on June 15, as he steps into the rotating role of “Bailey Stone”. A second round of guest artists has also been revealed today (5/18) including Kaylee Rose, Michael Ray, Taylor Hicks, and Twinnie.

Ballet Tech’s Kids Dance will return to The Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue) with a program devised by the organization’s new artistic director, Dionne D. Figgins. The production celebrates founder Eliot Feld, featuring some of his early Kids Dance pieces as part of Ballet Tech’s expanding repertory.

BroadwayWorld is shining a spotlight on the stellar designs of this Broadway season, show by show. Today, we continue the series with Emma Bailey, Tim Deiling, Paul Gatehouse, and Gabriella Slade who acted as scenic, lighting, sound and costume designers for the Broadway mega-hit, Six.

On May 23, 2022, distinguished artists from across the nation’s entertainment industry will come together in Los Angeles for The 24 Hour Musicals, the intensive theatrical endeavor where stars from Broadway, film and TV come together to write, compose, rehearse and perform four original musicals within a 24 hour time span at the Bourbon Room.

Palm Canyon Theatre (PCT) deserves kudos for the fine singing, acting, dancing, and technical achievements in its production of Stephen Sondheim's INTO THE WOODS - the audience was highly enthusiastic the night I attended, for good reason. The show will play through Sunday, May 22, 2022.

Lewis joins Sun Records compatriots Cash, “Cowboy” Jack Clement, Phillips and Elvis Presley in the Country Music Hall of Fame. He is also the fourth member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s founding 1986 class of inductees to also gain membership in the Country Music Hall of Fame, along with Presley (1998) and Ray Charles (2021).

As the first original international iteration of the popular franchise, the series follows the opulent, over-the-top lives of Nina Ali, Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, Dr. Sara Al Madani, Lesa Milan and network fan-favorite Caroline Stanbury.  The trailer also features 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' alum Phaedra Parks.

Broadway performer Janine DiVita (Jagged Little Pill, If/Then) joins Patrick Oliver Jones, host of the award-winning theater podcast Why I'll Never Make It, onstage for an evening of conversation and song at The Green Room 42 on June 8. It's also a bit of a reunion for DiVita and Jones as they performed together back in 2019 for Theatre Raleigh's production of Bridges of Madison County, directed by Lauren Kennedy.

Just last year, stage and screen legend Cloris Leachman passed away. With a career spanning more than seven decades, eight Primetime Emmy Awards, an Academy Award, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe Award, and a Daytime Emmy Award, one of her final roles is in LGBTQ drama Jump, Darling.

Atlantic Union Bank After Hours announced two new shows at the SERVPRO Pavilion in The Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia. Chase Rice will perform on Saturday, July 16th and Brett Eldredge will play on Saturday, August 6th. Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, May 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM.

On Thursday, May 12th at The Premiere Playhouse's (TPP) opening night performance of Cabaret in the historic Orpheum Theater, Executive and Artistic Director Robin Byrne announced TPP's 20th Season. The season will open in September 2022 with Mel Brooks's Young Frankenstein.
