What it's like to visit the East Room of the White House and watch a rehearsal of 'We Can't Stop the Beat'

Laura Linney, who is returning to the Broadway stage this fall, resuming her Tony nominated role in TIME STANDS STILL, is featured on this week's cover of the New York Times Magazine.

Due to a family emergency Anika Noni Rose was unable to perform during the July 30th concert of Vassar's On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Alysha Umphress instead stepped in and performed the role, and it is not yet announced whether Rose will be returning for the two August 1st performances.

Vassar College's Powerhouse Theatre has announced that their upcoming concert production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER, scheduled to run from July 29 to August 1, is completely sold out. However, the Theatre advises checking the box office's website in case additional tickets are released.

The New York Times reports today that Brian d'Arcy James and Anika Noni Rose will lead the 'On A Clear Day You Can See Forever' workshop, directed by Michael Mayer, at the Powerhouse Theater as part of this year's New York Stage and Film series at Vassar College.

Marin Mazzie and her real-life husband Jason Danieley were featured on NY-1's 'On Stage' and they spoke about their debut in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical 'Next To Normal.'
