Due to a family emergency Anika Noni Rose was unable to perform during the July 30th concert of Vassar's On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Alysha Umphress instead stepped in and performed the role, and it is not yet clear if Rose will be returning for the two August 1st performances.

Along with Anika Noni Rose, Brian D'Arcy James is set to lead the workshop, directed by Michael Mayer, as part of this year's New York Stage and Film series at Vassar College.

Familiar tunes, including "Come Back to Me" and "What Did I Have That I Don't Have," along with a surprising new twist will delight Powerhouse audiences in the re-imagined ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER, lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, music by Burton Lane, with new book by Peter Parnell, based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, re-conceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer (American Idiot, Spring Awakening, Side Man).
