San Francisco's acclaimed 42nd Street Moon presents the 2017-18 season's holiday production, the Tony Award-winning family favorite The Secret Garden. Based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden has a book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winner Marsha Norman ('night, Mother) and music by Grammy Award-winner Lucy Simon. The Secret Garden begins tonight, December 6, for a run through December 24, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Cast Announced for 42nd Street Moon's Holiday Production THE SECRET GARDEN

San Francisco's acclaimed 42nd Street Moon has announced the full cast and creative team for the 2017-2018 season's Holiday production, the Tony Award-winning family favorite The Secret Garden. Based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden has a book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winner Marsha Norman ('night, Mother) and music by Grammy Award-winner Lucy Simon. The Original Broadway Production won two Tony Awards in 1991: Best Book of a Musical (Marsha Norman) and Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical (11-year-old Daisy Eagan, making Eagan the youngest female Tony Award-winner to date). The Secret Garden runs from December 6 - 24, 2017 and will perform at the Gateway Theatre (formerly the Eureka Theatre). The press opening will take place on Saturday, December 9 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets range from $25 - $76 and can be purchased through the Box Office at (415) 255-8207 or online atwww.42ndstmoon.org.

A beloved celebration of the music of Fats Waller, Ain't Misbehavin' was originally conceived by Murry Horwitz and Tony Award-winner Richard Maltby, Jr. The original Broadway production made a star out of Nell Carter, who won a Tony Award for her performance. Ain't Misbehavin' runs from October 11-29, 2017 and will perform at the Gateway Theatre (formerly the Eureka Theatre). SILENCE! THE MUSICAL Announces Final Extension Through 4/1

Due to overwhelming audience response, Cloud 9 Theatricals, in association with Lang Entertainment Group and Ray of Light Theatre, announced today the second and final extension of the San Francisco premiere ofSILENCE! The Musical - the "subversively funny and deliciously tasty" award-winning musical parody of "The Silence of the Lambs." Originally scheduled through Saturday, February 25, tickets are now on-sale through its final performance, Saturday, April 1.  The performance schedule is as follows: Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets range in price from $35- $55 and are available online at www.silencethemusicalsf.comand at the Victoria Theatre box office (2961 16th St.) one-hour prior to performance time. Chianti will be on tap at the theater, but at this time, no fava-beans will be made available for public consumption. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice.

Clarice faces her own demons-and a troupe of singing and dancing lambs-while racing against the clock to unlock Lecter's clues before another innocent girl is killed and skinned by Buffalo Bill.
