In partnership with the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) as part of FIAF's 2016 Crossing the Line Festival, Times Square Arts will highlight the human details that bring us together with Tim Etchells' Eyes Looking, which will appear on Times Square's electronic billboards from 11:57 p.m. to midnight every night in October. This project is a part of Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation by the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts.

Influenced by imagery from Victorian patterns, letterpress printing, archetypal symbols, and apocalyptic themes, artist Beau Stanton – fresh from a massive commissioned mural for Dubai Walls – is known for his deeply metaphorical oil paintings that fuse these elements with modern environmental realities. Translating oil to animation, Stanton has preserved his antiquated language with a style that emulates early moving images, pulling inspiration from the zoetrope and the Lumiere brothers' cinematograph.

Antony Nagelmann leads a journey across the Atlantic Ocean in a sailboat and imparts the extreme experiences and emotion faced along the way in The Odyssey, which will be shown on Times Square's electronic billboards from 11:57 pm to midnight from December 1 to 30. The footage was shot in Progressive HD taking advantage of the technology that only the signs in Times Square can offer. Japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda's film test pattern will be reimagined for the Times Square billboards this October. From 11:57pm to midnight each night, digital screens will be taken over by tightly synchronized, flickering black-and-white imagery mining data for mathematical beauty as part of Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation by The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts.

Earlier this summer, over 1,200 people lined up in Times Square to be filmed crawling across a green screen. Spanish artist Daniel Canogar captured the footage of their crawls and has edited it to be shown on the Square's spectacular billboards in September. The resulting film, titled Storming Times Square, will have its premiere on Times Square billboards September 1 and screened every night in September at 11:57 p.m. as part of the Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation of The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts. This month's presentation is in partnership with bitforms gallery.

The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts have partnered with Tribeca Film Institute® (TFI) for the second time to present April's Midnight Moment. This month's film, Local/Express, is made by some of the 20 participants in this year's Tribeca Film Fellows® program, a year-long fellowship for New York City students aged 16-18. The film will premiere on Times Square's spectacular billboards just before midnight on Wednesday, April 1st, and play every night throughout April from 11:57 p.m.-midnight.

March's Midnight Moment, a presentation of the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts, features artist Zach Nader's film optional features shown, examining what happens when the product for sale is a mere ghost and the background comes to the foreground. The video will premiere on Times Square's billboards just before midnight on Saturday, March 1st, and play every night throughout March from 11:57 p.m.–midnight. For March'sMidnight Moment, TSAC and Times Square Arts have partnered with Moving Image, a video, film, and new media art fair that will take place March 6-9, 2014, at the Waterfront Tunnel event space in Chelsea.
