It was an epic night at Broadway Sessions Thursday, February 11th, as cast members from School of Rock descended from the top of Mt. Rock (aka The Winter Garden Theater) and invaded the Laurie Beechman Theater. The kids in the band, and some adults, wielded their instruments like light sabers, slaying tune after tune.

New Dawn, a new musical with book, music, and lyrics by Aaron Michael Krueger will be a part of the Venus/Adonis Theatre Festival this upcoming January.

SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICALis now in previews at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6, 2015. At last night's very first performance of School of Rock - The Musical on Broadway, cast members from the School of Rock film, met the cast of the new musical backstage at the Winter Garden Theatre.

Collaborators Trevor Bachman (The Nomad at The Flea Theater, Pyre Cantata at HERE Arts Center), Jonathan Sokolow (Bravo, Story Pirates), and Joshua Brown (Funny or Die, Night of the Living Beanie Babies) are at it again with an updated version of their new musical, IN REAL LIFE, presented this time at Theatre for a New Audience's Polonsky Shakespeare Center at 262 Ashland Pl on Tuesday, November 3rd. This is the second phase in the development of the piece, coming out of a successful reading at Tisch School of the Arts in late-May 2015. Producers, Zachary Infante (TFANA) and Sydney Blaxill (The Flea Theater), have organized a closed reading to present the new draft to designers and collaborators.

ABC's Good Morning America was on the scene, even meeting up with original cast member Brian Falduto who portrayed 'costume designer' Billy in the film.

Wagner College Theatre will present the Class of 2014's Senior Showcase on Monday March 31. The Showcase will be held at the Pershing Square Signature Theater from 6:30-7:30pm with a reception to follow. This event is for theater industry professionals and is not open to the public.
