Black Arts MKE's beloved holiday musical returns for its seventh year with its biggest and best production to date. Black Nativity by Langston Hughes runs one weekend only - December 8-11, 2022, at the Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall, Marcus Center.

Black Nativity by Langston Hughes will run December 5-15 with a special Community Night preview performance on Thursday, December 5 at the Marcus Center's Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall. 

Seven outstanding artists from across the country have received Tanne Foundation Awards for 2016.  Now in its eighteenth year, the foundation is pleased to make this announcement as a means of underscoring the importance of its mission to support individual artists with unrestricted funding. The awards, totaling $55,000, honor seven artists in recognition of their artistic achievements as well as one artist-run organization which has presented exceptional work for over 39 years.

Carlo Lorenzo Garcia, who served as the industrious Producing Director since 2008, has relinquished his duties to pursue other personal endeavors but is to remain a company member and consultant.
