The 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) production of BAYONETS OF ANGST will star Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer, set to play Abraham Lincoln in the world premiere. Joining him are Paul Whitty ('Once'), Herndon Lackey ('LoveMusik'), Brian Charles Rooney ('The Threepenny Opera'), Michael Abbott, Jr. ('Shotgun Stories'), Ian Lowe ('Murder for Two') and Ryan Andes ('Big Fish'). Carnegie Hall today announced the complete cast for its gala benefit performance of Guys and Dolls on Thursday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. Tony Award winner Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd, Applause, A Little Night Music) joins the cast as Arvide Abernathy along with Tony Award nominee Lee Wilkof (Assassins, Little Shop of Horrors, Kiss Me Kate) as Harry the Horse. Members of the Mission Band joining Allison Blackwell (Agatha) are J.D. Webster (Calvin), Linda Mugleston (Martha), and Joseph Torello (Joseph).

Katie Thompson, star of last season's GIANT, and Bill Connington, star of the upcoming indy feature film ZOMBIE, joined forces for the first time in a glittering evening in the white and gold-gilded ballroom of a private Eastside club, that served as the backdrop to the reading of PRIVATE LIVES by theatrical legend Noel Coward. They were joined by rising cabaret star Jennifer Sheehan, and Broadway's Brian Charles Rooney on Wednesday, February 12th. The evening was produced by Razors Edge Productions. In his 54 Below debut, Brian will deliver an evening of theatrical gems from the rich history of popular music, stage, and screen such as 'Maria,' 'Finishing the Hat,' 'La Vie En Rose,' and 'Music of the Night.' Each song in the program is the result of requests collected over the last few years from fans! You will be delighted by a few gender-bending surprises, as well as some joyfully comedic medleys, that will leave you wondering whether or not what you're hearing is real! Accompanying Mr. Rooney will be musical director Spencer Crosswell.
