An exhibition of paintings and drawings inspired by MTC's production of The Sublime, created by artists from Arts Project Australia, will be in the Fairfax Studio foyer at Arts Centre Melbourne from 22 August to 4 October.

The Vassar Drama department will present three performances of Aristophanes' comedic satire about war and sex, Lysistrata, directed by guest artist Ianthe Demos, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, December 6, 7, and 8, at 8:00pm, in the Martel Theater of the Vogelstein Center for Drama and Film. Demos, a 2000 Vassar graduate, co-founded the critically acclaimed One Year Lease theater company (OYL) in 2001 and their work has been widely praised by the New York Times and New York magazine among other outlets.
