Actor Brendan Cowell discusses Simon Stone's Yerma at the Young Vic

L.A.'s Australian Theatre Company, set to produce two Australian plays at the Matrix Theatre this June, has launched a crowdfunding campaign at generosity.com.
On Saturday August 22, the Old Fitz will be buzzing with exciting talent in hopes of enticing supporters along to help raise money to keep the legendary venue alive. Seven one-hour sessions of theatre will be staged back-to-back in the theatre space while canapes and drinks will be served in the upstairs bar. There'll be plenty of raffles and prizes on offer too. All entertainment on the day will be of high quality and will include many of the local community arts organisations and individuals. Following a successful collaboration last year Melbourne Theatre Company and Arts Project Australia have renewed their artistic partnership for MTC's Endgame. The cast and creative team of Endgame will be joined in rehearsals by four visual artists from Arts Project, who will create original drawings and paintings inspired by MTC's new production of Beckett's modern masterpiece.
MTC was delighted to learn this morning that MTC productions, artists and creatives have received 20 nominations for the 2014 Green Room Awards.
