On July 14, 2009, the soundtrack of the upcoming film, THE BIG GAY MUSICAL will be released. Presales for the CD & the new line of T-shirts (see below) will begin on May 18th on the BGM website. The film will be on the festival circuit this summer & will be in movie theatres in the fall The date of the CD release party will be announced shortly.

The Marvelous Wonderettes celebrates its 200th performance at the Westside Theatre on Saturday, March 7 (8:00 PM show). The non-stop pop musical comedy written and directed by Roger Bean began previews on August 29, 2008 and had its Official Opening on September 14.

As The Marvelous Wonderettes continues its dream run at the Westside Theatre, Misty Cotton joins the production as 'Missy' on Friday, March 6. She joins fellow cast mates Beth Malone, Bets Malone and Victoria Matlock in this non-stop pop musical comedy written and directed by Roger Bean. The Marvelous Wonderettes began previews on August 29, 2008 and the show celebrated its Official Opening on September 14. Farah Alvin, who originated the role of 'Missy' Off-Broadway, plays her final performance on Sunday, March 1.

The Marvelous Wonderettes invites families to join in on the fun and celebrate the holidays at the Westside Theatre, by offering complimentary tickets to children 16 years of age or younger. The promotion began Wednesday, December 10 and goes through Monday, December 22, adults who purchase a regularly-priced ticket (through the special code MAKIDS01) to see The Marvelous Wonderettes (redeemable for dates December 22 to January 4) are eligible to receive a free ticket for an accompanying child.

Rosie O'Donnell paid a special visit to the cast of The Marvelous Wonderettes after she caught the opening night performance on Sunday, September 14th.

The Marvelous Wonderettes OriginalCast Recording will be released by PS Classics, the label dedicated to the heritage ofBroadway and American popular song. There's an interesting point buried beneath the innocuous entertainment of writer/director Roger Bean's The Marvelous Wonderettes, a somewhat cute little show utilizing girl group and female soloist pop hits from the 1950s and 60s. Unfortunately, that interesting point could have easily been made with out the tedium of his vapid, unfunny book and standard story. But if you can disregard everything that happens between the songs and just enjoy the singing talents of Farah Alvin (the shy, geeky one), Beth Malone (the trouble-maker), Bets Malone (the air-headed, helium voiced blonde) and Victoria Matlock (Most Likely To Become Ann-Margret) you're apt to have an enjoyable time.
