The cast of the off-Broadway hit The Marvelous Wonderettes sing the national anthem for the New York Mets at Citi Field, April 16, 2009

The Marvelous Wonderettes recently celebrated its 200th performance at the Westside Theatre on Saturday, March 7 (8:00 PM show). The non-stop pop musical comedy written and directed by Roger Bean began previews on August 29, 2008 and had its Official Opening on September 14.

The Marvelous Wonderettes recently welcomed Misty Cotton into the role of "Missy" (Cotton originated "Missy" in the hit edition of Winter Wonderettes at Milwaukee Rep). She joins original members Beth Malone, Bets Malone and Victoria Matlock in the Off-Broadway hit at the Westside Theatre. This production includes Set by Michael Carnahan, Costumes and Wigs by Bobby Pearce, Lighting by Jeremy Pivnick, Sound by Cricket S. Myers, Musical Direction by Michael Borth and Choreography by Janet Miller. The Marvelous Wonderettes is presented by David Elzer, Peter Schneider and Marvelous NYC, LLC.

The Marvelous Wonderettes plays as follows at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street): Monday through Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at 8:00 PM, with matinee performances on Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 3:00 PM.
