The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, partners with producers Amy Engelhardt and Heather Shields to present the second installment of the new game show for musical theater lovers called Tune in Time, hosted by Emily McNamara, music direction by Nate Buccieri, with Sheila Head as the annoyingly insistent timekeeper, on Tuesday, October 28 at The York Theatre Company's home at Saint Peters (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Additional performances are set for November 11 and December 2. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

Alumni from the top collegiate fundraisers for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will join together Monday, September 29, 2014, for Cares Continues: The Strength in Generations, a benefit rock concert celebrating a new generation of activists joining the fight for those battling HIV/AIDS. The one-night-only concert pairs '80s favorites popular during the early days of AIDS activism with hopeful stories from today's activist generation.

Twenty-Somethings 2, an evening spotlighting the work of songwriters Drew Overcash, Blake Pfeil, and Zoe Sarnak, was held Aug. 18 at the Highline Ballroom. Tony nominee Robin de Jesus, Kacie Sheik and Nic Rouleau were among the performers.

The American Theater Group will present a one-night only concert performance featuring songs from VERY VERY, the brand new electric adaptation of Shakespeare's classic comedy "As You Like It" reimagined as a contemporary rock concert on December 9, 2013 at 8:00 pm at Union County Performing Arts Center's Hamilton Stage. Acting Company Alum, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Artistic Associate, and current Artistic Director of National Players with The Olney Theatre Center, Jason King Jones, will direct.

INSPIRED: A Benefit Concert for the ASPCA of NYC and The Last Resort Rescue of NJ took place on September 22, 2013. The concert invited the audience into the hearts and minds of some of today's exciting musical theatre writers in a casual and intimate setting as they sit behind the piano and, unlike traditional concerts of their material, perform songs by other writers that have inspired their work. Last night, a slew of Broadway favorites took part in Twenty-Somethings at The Highline Ballroom, featuring music by up-and-coming songwriters Blake Pfeil, Zoe Sarnak and Drew Overcash. Twenty-Somethings brings together three up-and-coming songwriters of the next generation. Blake Pfeil, Zoe Sarnak and Drew Overcash perform original music that range from jazz to pop/rock to contemporary musical theatre at The Highline Ballroom tonight, August 12th at 8PM.

Bring It On's Adrienne Warren and Ryann Redmond, Once's Laura Dreyfuss and recording artist Grace Weber will round out the lineup for Twenty-Somethings at The Highline Ballroom on Monday, August 12th at 8PM. The concert will feature up-and-coming songwriters Blake Pfeil, Zoe Sarnak and Drew Overcash performing new music that range from jazz to pop/rock to contemporary musical theatre.
