Patchogue Theatre & The Gateway Present WITH LOVE, MARILYN

Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts and The Gateway will co-present the nationally touring production of With Love, Marilyn on Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. With Love, Marilyn stars Erin Sullivan as Marilyn Monroe in a special one-woman tribute performance to one of the world's most iconic romantic ingenues. Leading up to the show's Long Island debut, Patchogue Theatre and The Gateway will host various Marilyn Monroe themed events throughout the week at Patchogue Theatre.

Innovatively set in the unique Chateau de Karreveld, the greatest attraction of the Bruexellons! Summer Festival is proving to be the very first French version of Sunset Boulevard, flawlessly translated and adapted by Jack Cooper and Simon Paco, and resourcefully supervised by Stephane Laporte, who gave us the French adaptation of The Lion King, Titanic, I Do! Joe's Pub at The Public presents the North American premiere of Murray Hill: About To Break, a new comedy and theatrical event, running September 20-22 and 27-29. About To Break is written and performed by Hill and directed and developed with Tony Award-winning lyricist, writer, and director Scott Wittman. Renowned as a comic host around the world, this new show is a departure, putting Hill center stage in the first major dedicated solo show of his long, storied career. Musical direction is by Paul Leschen with original music by Hill with Wittman, Marc Shaiman, Kyle Forrester, Eric Kornfeld, Jesse Elder, and Leschen.

Jason Tramm And Long Island Concert Orchestra Set To Open The 59th Morgan Park Summer Music Festival July 1st

Noted American conductor Jason Tramm and the Long Island Concert Orchestra will launch the 59th Season of the Morgan Park Summer Music Festival on Sunday July 1st in Glen Cove, New York. The concert program entitled Americana will feature a dynamic and dazzling selection of great American music performed by the Long Island Concert Orchestra (LICO). Accompanying the orchestra will be internationally renowned soloists soprano Indira Mahajan and baritone Jorell Williams.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's SUNSET BOULEVARD Comes to The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury

Starring Ria Jones as Norma Desmond, and Danny Mac as Joe Gillis, the story of romance and obsession is based on Billy Wilder's film, with Don Black and Christopher Hampton's book and lyrics. The score, performed by a full orchestra, includes the title number Sunset Boulevard, and With One Look, As If We Never Said Goodbye, The Greatest Star Of All and The Perfect Year.

The Lone Star Film Society And Fort Worth Opera Copresent SUNSET BOULEVARD

The Lone Star Film Society & Fort Worth Opera (FWOpera) announced today a free screening of Billy Wilder's Oscar-winning film Sunset Boulevard at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth on April 11, 2018 at 7:30 PM. Cinema and opera collide in this exciting new event, featuring a multimedia talk by opera director Chuck Hudson, and a performance by FWOpera-TCU Hattie Mae Lesley Apprentice Artist Bronwyn White. Not only will audiences get a sneak peek of FWOpera's dazzling, 1950s Hollywood production of Donizetti's Don Pasquale, inspired by Sunset Boulevard, but for one night only, film lovers will get a chance to view this critically acclaimed classic on the big screen.

Art Directors Guild Gallery 800 To Present THE GOLDEN BRUSH: A TRIBUTE TO DUNCAN ALANSON SPENCER

Duncan Alanson Spencer (1911-1999), the legendary Scenic Artist behind some of Hollywood's greatest films, will be honored by the Art Directors Guild Gallery 800 (ADG, IATSE Local 800) in a special exhibit entitled “The Golden Brush: A Tribute to Duncan Alanson Spencer.” Spencer's career spanned over 38 years and over 400 movies including The Wizard of Oz, White Christmas, Meet Me in St. Louis and Ziegfeld Follies. The exhibit opens with a hosted opening reception on Saturday, February 10 from 5 - 9pm and will run through April 7, 2018.
