Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College continues its 2015-16 season today, April 16, 2016 at 8pm with Regina Carter's Southern Comfort.

And with a commanding stage presence and vocal prowess that comes from years of experience it seems she has no intentions of pumping the breaks anytime soon, as you can see her perform Wednesday, April 20th at Mercury Lounge.

Joe's Pub at The Public has announced its nightly performances, April 13-24, 2016.

The 11th installment of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series, Broadway Sings Whitney Houston, in which a cast of 15 Broadway stars sang completely new arrangements of the legendary diva's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations, was held April 10 at Highline Ballroom. According to The New York Times, Tony Award winning choreographer Twyla Tharp will present her latest work this summer at the Joyce Theater. The work is currently untitled and is 'a dramatic piece set to a late Beethoven quartet.' Ms. Tharp is currently the artist in residence at the theatre. 

On April 18, 2016 the John W. Engeman Theater will present Simon & Garfunkel: Live in Central Park [Revisited].
