The Eugene and Elinor Friend Center for the Arts at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) today announced details of its Performing Arts programming for 2009/10. With an eclectic mix of dance, music, comedy, and innovative artistic expression, the program is designed to transcend social, political and religious differences, and connect to the vital multicultural fabric of the Bay Area community.

Kim will also perform two late shows with jazz organist Rhoda Scott on Aug 21 and 22. Her 'Heart of Lady Day' shows are at 8 PM, with the Sunday show at 7 PM.

The 92nd Street Y announces the 2010 line-up for Lyrics & Lyricists, the 40th anniversary season of 92Y's legendary American Songbook series. Broadway Musicals of 1970 was presented by The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) on Monday, June 15th at 8PM. Concluding its ninth season with this concert, the critically acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series is known for great singing and spectacular Broadway dancing. The series is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. The show was directed and choreographed by Fred Astaire Award nominee Jeffry Denman, who also performed in the show.

Tony Award nominee Martin Vidnovic (Brigadoon), Stephen DeRosa (Into the Woods, Hairspray), Tony Award nominee Cheryl Freeman (The Who's Tommy), Darius de Haas (Rent), Kendrick Jones (Stairway to Paradise) and special guest star Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) will join the cast of Broadway Musicals of 1970 on Monday, June 15th at 8PM.
