Little Fish Theatre is excited to announce The 39 Steps as the fifth production in their 2016 season.  Adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan, The 39 Steps won the Olivier Award for Best Comedy and was a two-time 2008 Tony® Awards winner.  Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, then add a dash of Monty Python and you have a thrilling piece of theater magic for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The West Coast premiere of DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY by Rich Orloff is currently playing to uproariously laughing audiences at Little Fish Theatre in San Pedro, directed with a clear vision by Holly Baker-Kreiswirth in which much homage is paid to classic gangster movies. Over the last 12 years, the artistic team at San Pedro's Little Fish Theatre has undertaken an extensive process, this year selecting from over 600 submitted manuscripts from around the world to be included in their annual PICK OF THE VINE production. When Yvonne's husband, Victor, seems to lose interest in the carnal aspects of their relationship, her friend suggests that Victor might be finding satisfaction elsewhere. To test Victor's fidelity, Yvonne's friend convinces her to send a letter from an imaginary admirer suggesting a hotel assignation. When the letter falls into the wrong hands, it touches off a dizzying string of madcap mix-ups.
