At 26, Marc became the youngest comedy club owner in America when he and his partners bought the historic Ice House in Pasadena, California. During that time, Marc developed working relationships with some of America's most prominent comedy stars, agents and network executives. From there, he joined legendary L.A. radio personality Rick Dees, who asked Marc to help develop and produce The Rick Dees Comedy Concerts. That association led to seven sold-out shows at such venues as the Universal Amphitheater, Pasadena Civic Auditorium, and Long Beach Terrace Theater. Stars including Jay Leno, Howie Mandel, Brad Garrett, Ellen Degeneres, Bill Maher and Kevin Nealon were featured in Marc's productions. Marc's credits include being hired as a staff writer and talent coordinator for ABC's Into the Night starring Brad Garrett. From Cage to Stage - Actor/Writer Joe Assadourian will open his new one-man comedy The Bullpen Off-Broadway on Sunday, June 22nd, at The Playroom Theater. Released from Otisville Correctional Institution in October of 2013 after serving 12 of his 25 year sentence for attempted murder, Assadourian discovered his theatrical ability while reluctantly participating in a workshop behind bars lead by Off-Broadway solo-show Actor/Director Richard Hoehler. The duo has developed the work now for over two years, both inside and outside the state prison system, and it premieres Off-Broadway this summer.

Actor/playwright Joseph Assadourian, like Charles Dutton and Lead Belly before him, discovered his theatrical voice while serving time behind bars. His new one-man play, The Bullpen, which he wrote and stars in, will begin an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue) tonight, June 12th. Richard Hoehler directs this black comedy, which features Assadourian in 18 different roles. Opening night is set Sunday June 22nd.
