Everyone's favorite upside-down fairytale comes to Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) when they present SHREK The Musical, a song-and dance-filled stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning DreamWorks animated film. The world of fairytales will be turned upside down in an all singing, all dancing, and irresistible mix of adventure, laughter and romance beginning Tuesday, July 7, playing thru Sunday, July 19. Bill Hanney will present Charles Shaughnessy, Emmy -winning star of 'The Nanny,' and 'Days of Our Lives,' starring in the MY FAIR LADY at the historic Theatre By The Sea (TBTS). Theatre By The Sea, opening Wednesday, June 24 and playing through Sunday, July 18. Press night is scheduled for Friday, June 26 at 8:00 p.m.

Bill Hanney, Owner/Producer of Theatre By The Sea in Matunuck, RI announced today that local culinary favorite Rich Paolo from Pamfilio's Restaurant in Cumberland, RI will be operating the theater's on-site restaurant, Bistro By the Sea. The partnership is effective immediately and the restaurant will be in full operation for the 2015 theater season.

Bill Hanney has announced the full lineup for the 2015 Summer Season at the historic Theatre By The Sea (TBTS). The four show subscription season will feature SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE, MY FAIR LADY starring Charles Shaughnessy, Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID, and the Mel Brooks musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. The 2015 Children's Festival features 5 shows presented on Friday mornings for the youngest of arts lovers, and Camp Theatre By The Sea will perform LEGALLY BLONDE, JR.

Jon Kimbell, former NSMT Artistic Director, returns to Bill Hanney's North Shore Music Theatre(NSMT) to direct A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the show he originally adapted for the NSMT stage in 1989. Whether it's ghostly magical special effects, the dozens of revelers and musicians, or the cold scowl of Ebenezer Scrooge, there is something for everyone in this original, award-winning production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, playing 13 performances only from Friday, December 5 thru Sunday, December 21, 2014. Press Night scheduled for Friday, December 5 at 7:30pm.
